The CT6/LSR/ERP High Speed Optical-Contact Laser Tachometer has been evolved to facilitate the measurement of very high speed small shaft machines, such as dental drilling equipment, gyros, air motors and similar low torque high speed devices.

Function – High speed mode: This product operates without reflective tape under controlled conditions, when using the LN1 Lens Adaptor, the Optical Range is nominally 50mm Target, non-reflective paint or material is required, there is also a integral sensitivity control which requires adjustment to suit the specific application conditions.
Safety of use: The Laser is classified CLASS II safe for portable use, the user must take care not to stare directly into the Laser Beam, this would have a similar dazzling effect as staring directly into a high power torch light or car headlight at close range.
TTL 5v pulse output facility: For Data-logging, triggering purposes in vibration and balancing applications.
Additional on/off switch: To allow continuous measurement where required for data monitoring applications in hands free mode.
Sensitivity control: Necessary for setting the Laser on specific high speed applications when using the LN1 Lens Adaptor.
Maximum speed with Contact Adaptor: Governed by upper speed limit of bearings and is affected by measurement duration, typically 50,000 rpm for 10 Seconds. Maximum linear rate is typically 1,500 metres/minute or 4,500 feet/minute.
