Description

The MiniVLS Optical Laser Speed Sensors are primarily designed for speed related applications, including very high speed monitoring, these high quality Laser Sensors are housed in a plastic body, they are engineered for easy mounting in either a proximity Sensor style housing, plain version with a threaded housing which is designed to be used either handheld or with an optional mounting bracket which can be tripod mounted or fixed to a machine surface, these Optical Laser Sensors can be used with almost any pulse input monitoring equipment such as Digital Tachometers, Counters and rotation monitoring products, data collectors, including portable, panel mounted and bench style instruments, they are also compatible with most Condition Monitoring products.

Automotive Applications: Widely used for research, development and test applications.

Condition Monitoring Application: Ideal for phase and speed monitoring balancing applications on rotating machinery.

Wire & Pin connections, 7-way Fischer Connector: Pin 4 – GND – Green, Pin 5 – SIG – Yellow, Pin 7 – +5v – RED.

Optical Ranges: Up to 2 metres with reflective tape, a greater distance with retroreflectors or special configurations.
